Modifying for reverse gp shift while keeping oem footpegs. Are there any good options to the Healtech quickshifter?

Do you mean alternatives to the Healtech? Knowing what I now know, I would go with the Healtech over the HM Plus. I might look real hard at the high end HM shifter but it's really expensive especially if you want to have clutchless downshifts.
How are you modifying the stock shift pedal to do GP shift pattern? You must be attaching a shift rod and using knuckle like aftermarket rearsets.

That would take some getting used to right there.

I think so.It's longer from the footpeg quite a bit.Maybe too long?I know when I tried moving my shift lever by a couple of splines, the trans didn't shift worth a damn.Even by one spline. At one point I bought an aftermarket rearset(s).To bring the pegs farther forward.

I've moved the shift knuckle two maybe even three splines but it shifted the same. The shift pedal is still at about the same height but I moved the knuckle to take up some space in the length of the shift rod.

Thanks for showing pictures of that. We have a couple threads about converting to GP shift and what had been done in the past using aftermarket footrests is to position the shift knuckle so it points downward. They also had to space the footrest out a bit or reposition the spring on the side stand.

I have an HM Plus. Looking at the the more intricate settings that are possible with the healtech, I think that would be my choice now. I really want a shifter with an autoblipper though. If I don't switch to an air shifter on my bike, I think I'd like an HM GP with autoblipper. Big bucks for that but damn, it's cool.
I have my shifter set on 90 mls. That seems about where the 14 likes to be set. I've tried 65 mls and it's not enough kill time. Maybe it would be better with GP shift pattern. I sort of think not and I'm apprehensive to try much lower than 90 mls again. 90's still very quick.

I'm pretty sure Translogic does and the HM GP does but you need to purchase a blipper module. The HM ad I just saw said HM doesn't make a blipper module but I think they do. They have a product called the blipper shifter range.
Check out the video at the bottom of this page.

Sure. I enjoy doing a blip for my downshifts and I've never had need to downshift fast four gear as rapidly as I could with a quickshifter. It would sure be cool to just nudge the pedal a couple times without bothering with the clutch or the throttle though. Actually, if I'm downshifting hard, I like to slip the clutch a little to avoid sliding or lightening up the rear wheel. The Gen2 might have a slipper clutch but my Gen1 doesn't. My busa which does have a slipper clutch doesn't intervene unless the back torque is extremely high.
